Dr. Nike Bello is a gynecologist and obstetrician at the University College Hospital in Ibadan. Dr. Bello states that it is common for women undergoing menopause to experience discomfort from conditions such as cold feet, hyperhidrosis, and insomnia. Dr. Bello states that many of these conditions are the result of the hormonal imbalances the body goes through at this stage.
Dr. Bello explained to the Daily Post that slow blood circulation is typical during menopause due to shifting hormone levels. To warm up the feet, Dr. Bello recommends taking short walks, exercising three hours before bed, and eating plenty of fruits and vegetables during the day.
